The Grannie is the product of passionate excitement and a grand dream. Founded in 2021 by three talented women, this brand was shaped through the eyes of an architect, the aesthetics of an industrial designer, and the precision of a textile engineer. Our name pays homage to our ancient female ancestors and the legacy of handcrafted arts.
Traditional handicrafts and crafts have started to lose their prominence throughout history. Our mission is to revive the elegant details of these arts amidst the noise of the modern era. Each of our products is crafted by the hands of women living in the depths of Anatolian lands. These women work with the highest quality raw materials not only on a local scale but also globally.

We Carry the Legacy of Our Grandmothers into Today
OUR MANIFEST
The heirloom passed down from our grandmothers to our mothers was a hope chest filled with craftsmanship skills and traditional handmade items. The transfer of these skills and crafts from one generation to the next has faced extinction due to the busyness of people’s lives, having less time to produce these special items, and the practical alternatives offered by technology. Founded by four women from different disciplines, The Grannie takes on this responsibility to preserve this cultural heritage and pass these values on to future generations.
Our responsibility is not only to transmit these values to younger generations but also to support the work of local artisans.

OUR FOUNDERS
Eylül Danışman
Eylül Danışman, one of the founders of The Grannie, graduated from Anadolu University’s Industrial Design Department in 2015. After graduation, she gained experience working for various distinguished companies in the industry. She completed her master’s thesis at Marmara University, focusing on social enterprises and design, showcasing her deep knowledge and passion in this field. As one of the pioneers of The Grannie family, she plays a leading and creative role in design and production.
Dilara Bozkır
Dilara Bozkır, one of the founders of The Grannie, graduated from Istanbul Technical University with a degree in Textile Engineering in 2015. Following her graduation, she began her career in the textile industry, gaining significant experience with various companies. She received education in entrepreneurship in the United States and now leverages her expertise to lead The Grannie’s business development and marketing activities. Since 2020, she has been one of the founders contributing to the growth of the brand.
Tuğba Delikara Kul
Tuğba Delikara Kul, one of the founders of The Grannie, is a professional who graduated from Yıldız Technical University’s Department of Architecture in 2015. She began her career working for various prestigious firms and later wrote her own success story by establishing her own architecture office. Tuğba joined The Grannie family in 2020, bringing her extensive architectural experience to the brand as one of its foundational members, while also leading the design and production processes.
